DESIGN-BUILD METHOD

Working as a design-build firm means that we bring the Architect, Engineer, together and participate in every step as the design, scope of work and specifications are developed. This means that we are your one-stop-shop for the entire project, which brings a number of intrinsic advantages.

We participate in almost all of the design meetings. As drawings proceed, we discuss preliminary selections and finishes for your home.

Where needed, Katz Builders, Inc., will coordinate with your Interior Designer to prepare a comprehensive package for your review, including selections such as hardware, plumbing, tile, appliances and lighting. Your design professional can provide photos of all selections to best convey the essence of the design direction, including 3-D vignettes of individual rooms with selections laid out to help you visualize the final results.

COMPLETE RESPONSIBILITY

As a design-build firm, we guide the tasks needed from design through construction as well as maintaining that the job is organized and running smoothly.

FASTER TURNAROUND

Working with Katz Builders, Inc., through early planning and complete collaboration between our team members and our clients our goal is to minimize changes after construction is started. When a change is necessary having the right team in place minimizes downtime and inefficiency.​

EARLY COST ANALYSIS

With plans, selections and specifications, an estimate of cost based on preliminary plans and specifications, and updated selections will be provided.  We can expect that the provided preliminary proposal will be consistent with the final cost at the completion of construction documents unless changes are made to the overall scope of the project​.
